Hump Day . . . .

Wednesday, January 12, 2011

Good Day Sparkfam!! Its a brisk but very sunny day here in Chicago. I mean the sun reflection off the snow is almost blinding. I guess I could scrap up a few bucks for a car wash to get some of the much off my truck? Had the grandson last night & children are outrageously funny. I was trying to coax him to take a bath or shower & I told him he didn't smell very fresh & needed a shower & his reply was "thank you." I thought that was hysterical if we could all look at life like. Instead of taking a comment on our hygiene to be offensive, well our hygiene can be an assault on the air others breathe. lol Just trying to make you smile.

Last night to get the ball rolling, I made oatmeal & put that & my chili in containers to go for today. See how I was thinking. . .Yeah, we can make it happen in the little ways. I didn't want to feel rushed this morning especially since I had to get me, my youngest son & Israel dressed to get out the door by 9:30am. I did 2 better than that this morning, I got up, watched Joyce Meyers & then did Cathe Step Blast & Cathe Legs & Glutes. I thought I still had sleep in my eye but apparently not. Somebody must've told my body that is was hump day & the sister was humpin!! I felt accomplished until the morning air hit me like ton of bricks but I pressed on. Izzy had no gloves & put his hands in his pockets his dad has them in his truck which was absolutely no good to me. So I made to daycare, undressed him & signed him & was mean to a few of the kids but they deserved. lol Got to work & now I'm sleepy. I'm doing my work I ate my oatmeal & added cinnamon, which is something cause I don't go too far out of my range but it supposed to good for you so I tried it. My co-worker brought me an orange, I drank some of my bolthouse real fruit juice & some apple juice. I did have some red vines & fishes but I don't feel guilty. I've been searching the net on healthier options of my own recipes & ways to add more fruits & veggies to my daily intake. I feel on fire for my health & maybe its the new year but whatever it is I wanna hold on to til 2012!

Family its Hump Day & time to shake, move & groove to your favorite tune. . .

God bless & enjoy everyday!!

oatmeal is do good for you. I've tried to eat it everyday.....but the 6 y/o child is rebelling. So I will try for at least 3 days a week. The kids are still out of school since monday past. The snow came and left 6 inches. That is a lot for us. We rarely get snow here. Kids are happy mama is not! emoticon

Hello Mrs. Dee. How are you? I heard the snow was all day on tuesday. Has it stopped? I still can't imagine you being a grandmother but you are a good one. Praise the Lord for Great Women as yourself. You are doing a great job. I wish I had some of those fishes. The red ones right? But I'm straight. Had oatmeal myself and cinnamon is great for you especially diabetics. You stay safe out on those streets and keep doing what you doing. Thanks for reading my entry. I appreciate you!

sounds like a great time with your grandson, yes, it's fun watching them and listening to what they have to say, the Lord has truly blessed us with grandkids, I have 4 of my own, 3 girls and 1 boy, a wide range in ages, 19, 16 and 4 years and 1 toddler at 20 months, the boy is the youngest...I sure keep busy with helping my daughter with the 2 youngest, had many sleepovers and love every moment just as you did with your grandson. Keep up the great work with your diet and exercise goals. I see you enjoy Joyce Meyers like I do...Have a great day and week, thanks for sharing a great blog.
