Yup, today marks 49 months on Spark People.

Who'd have thought I could make lifestyle changes and maintain them (to varying degrees) for over 4 years? Wasn't me!

Who'd think I could lose 45 lbs in about 14 months - and then maintain that loss for 3 more years? Wasn't me, either!

Who'd have realized that I could feel younger, healthier, get over emotional eating, and actually influence DH to lose some weight and get more active? Nope, I didn't know that, either!!!!!

Huh. I guess this works, LOL!

And yes, I'm only halfway to my goal weight. ONLY. But instead of looking at a glass half empty, I look at that glass half full - I have lost half the weight I want to lose!!!!!! I'm halfway there!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Absolutely! You may see it as ONLY halfway there, but imagine if you had done NOTHING....then where would you be?!?!

    Congrats and what a great accomplishment. Keeping the weight off is really a great accomplishment.

Next month I am also coming up to my 4th anniversary and for the past 6 months I've been dropping and gaining the same 2-3 lbs emoticon
