New Year, New Me

I realize I didn't become this heavy overnight so I shouldn't expect the weight to come off that quickly either. I started this year 13 pounds lighter than last year. When the New year began I was surprised to find out from the scale, I didn't gain ANY weight during the holidays. Yes I ate the cookies, the pie, but I also ate more vegetables and proteins.

When I stepped on the scale today, I was surpsied to see I lost a little over a pound. If I do this every week, at the end of the year I will have lost over 52 pounds which would be AWESOME!

I am going to the gym after work to keep the momentum going in my favor. If I can do it, you can too! Good Luck!
