Good Day at the Barn and Another Bout with the Downstairs Crazy

Sunday, January 09, 2011

Had a great afternoon at the barn. Spent a few hours out there and took a short ride for the first time since sinus surgery. My horse is a real packer. and behaved wonderfully.

Got home and have had two rounds of the downstairs neighbor beating on the ceiling. I'm not supposed to enter my kitchen I suppose. It should be noted this neighbor has lived under me for about 5.5-6 years and only just became a problem the last few months. It's not really her it's the 20 some daughter who lives there and suddenly has become insane over my stomping, really not stomping it's just the way walking on these floors sounds, it's pretty loud when my upstairs neighbor walks also, and there are a few creaks. Oh well all the passive aggressive notes and nastiness from her has resulted in me not feeling bad. Much less the dents the crazy girl has left in my door.

Oh, this brings back memories of living in an apartment where the stairway vibrated directly into my apt. There were days it was more tolerable than others. The worst sounds though were those coming from the upstairs bedroom - smiles

I was in love with horses ever since I can remember and you are so lucky to have one.
As fo the neighbours - wow! I had some nasty ones and they moved out. They're selling their place I guess and are renovating - and while doing so, they leave the door open and windows closed - stairwel stinky and dusty - but at least THEY're not here. Nasty bussiness some people...
