Small Changes...Big Difference

I know I have a long road ahead to get & remain healthy. As they say, I didn't get this way overnight and the weight won't come overnight. But, I'm happy with the progress so far.
I still haven't managed to get in a real workout, but I've made other changes in my life. I've started drinking more water daily * although I haven't made it to my 8 glasses yet
*. I've also cut out/back on soda and sweet tea. When I go to the stores, I park farther away from the door. I give myself a reason to run up and down my household steps everyday. I think about the food choices I make each day. And when I'm done eating, I get up from the table and find something else to do because I might be tempted to have a second helping just because it's there.
I'm excited about the weight I have lost so far. I know once I incorporate exercise in my life, I will truly reap the benefits of living healthier.
