Day at the mall

So, today my husband and I went to the Rockingham Mall ... and of course while there he says lets get lunch. (Oh God). He picked Bertuccis! Well known for there oven brick pizza. Everything spelled sooo good and looked delicious. As I start looking a the menu I see everything from bread,pasta, pizza, and grinders. I look through at least 4 pages of this menu and thinking to myself I will never find anything good for me on here! My will power getting weaker with every minute that goes by. Then finally the last page has salads... most seem to be hidden with high calories. Then I see a Venetian spinach with grilled chicken. YES!! That's what I will get. It looked great and tasted delicious. Came home to look it up on line and it was 300 calories! I can live with that. The balsamic vinegar dressing was 120 calories had a little more fat than I would have liked but hey I chose wisely off the menu, skipped dessert and walked around the mall for some exercise. All in all a great day!

    Great willpower!!!

It really does pay to search the menus. You can almost always find something really nutritious and healthy at every restaurant these days.

    Awesome work good on you!! Not sure I would have been able to resist that temptation I love pizza from specialty places like that!
