In between making reservations today I looked this up and lo and behold I have learned something so now I KNOW I AM MOST DEFINITELY NOT DEAD!
LOL Just kidding. I always tell people you learn something new everyday so if you don't learn AT LEAST SOMETHING you must be dead. LOL Yeah I'm a goof ball.
I found this article about calculating my BMR and then using that to calculate how many calories I would need to consume to lose weight.

The result of the formula for me is 1948 calories need to be consumed for my height, weight and age.
Now, next, weight loss.
Crazily enough my total after THIS calculation is (drum roll please!) 2678!!!
Now the website says
"An alternative way of calculating a safe minimum calorie-intake level is by reference to your body weight or current body weight. Reducing calories by 15-20% below your daily calorie maintenance needs is a useful start. You may increase this depending on your weight loss goals."
So this means I need to subtract 535 calories from 2678 if I'm trying to reduce my caloric intake by 20%.
Sooooooo end result. I need to consume about 2100 calories a day. I think I'll actually shoot more for about 1800 or so because I seem to do best, weight loss wise when I'm about there.
I'll try this out over the next few weeks to see how it goes!
