I stopped smoking four years ago. It wasn't easy and while I am grateful I did it , I am now learning how I can also shed the excess weight it created, that makes me feel " less than". Don't like that feeling ...don't want it !
I started here at Sparkpeople in October 2010 and lost 5 lb. the low cal standard way . I then put it back on pretty much right away and was wrestling with an out of control obsession with food .
I stumbled across mark Sission's "Apple a day" website in early December 2010, and finally made the commitment and started the eating lifestyle December, 28th .
Before I stared the primal Blueprint way of eating though , I instinctively knew I had to detoxify , since my cravings were so fierce and so I flooded my body with Protein for two day's first to get rid of the sugar cravings and then I was off.
I feel a mental and physical contentment from this way of eating that seems to be adding momentum in all ways in my life .So far soooo good !
