Happy New Year!
I took a little break from spark towards the end of 2010, it was a mixture of lots of things going on and the monotony of logging my life was getting to me a little. As a result the exercise and healthy eating dropped a little. I'm pleased to say that I didn't slip into my old ways, just wasn't as disciplined as before. I noticed that even despite the lack of tracking I was still more conscious of what I was eating, and made the choice to not eat as well- instead of just not knowing or caring.
Anyway, excuses aside, the spark hiatus cost me around 10lbs. I'm pleased with that- not pleased that I added 10lbs, but pleased that its all I added, which to me was a demonstration that I was still able to exercise control.
Christmas was just peachy as my sexy lady was up to visit for a whole 18 days! Woohoo! We both made a re-commitment to eat healthy and exercise more and that's where I stand.
As of today, I've refreshed the spark profile a bit, updated some comments, and signed up for the January boot camp to kick start my efforts. My immediate goal is to get rid of the 10lbs and smash through the 100lb loss barrier I was struggling with towards the end of last year. I hope to do this before my birthday mid feb.
