This weekend I bought the basic "Flat Belly" package -- mostly a lot of information I think will help me fine-tune my eating. Right now I'm following the "protein" metabolism type -- meaning, I'm eating more protein than carbs during the day. It's amazing how much this plan has me eating! I'm logging it it my Spark People nutrition tracker and it seems to be keeping me right in the ranges of all the foods I should be eating. The only place I'm a little low is in carbs -- so I think I might add an extra serving per day and see what happens. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying what I'm eating and feeling nice and full after all my meals. The one thing I don't know if I can give up though is my daily serving of "ice cream" (actually, I'm eating low-fat ice cream; sometimes frozen yogurt. I call everything frozen and creamy ice cream). I guess the worst part of it is the sugar. But I wonder -- how bad can it be if I eat so little? Time will tell!
