Good Morning; I am up and roaring to go. I weighed in this morning and I dropped 2 lbs. This may seem like alot, but this is for a 2 week period. I do not weigh in weekly. I get panic attacks on the scale. this is what I know- calories consumed minus calories burnt will eventually result in weight loss. The key is consistency and portion control. This is what I do. What is hard is getting started! My journey started when I planned to see my bestfriend who lives in Scotland. I also want to get my feet and legs in shape of being able to with stand long hours of standing while in museums or art galleries. I want a better me this year health wise. Each day I get up and look into the mirror. Hey you, you are getting better and better! I love you! Have a wonderful day every one! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I weigh myself usually 2 times a wek, on Friday, for a challenge, and on Mondays, with my DH, and I gained from Friday to Monday, (not good) but I have been doing quite a bit of strength exercises, and perhaps I am finally building some muxcle, and I know muscle is heavier than fat. so perhaps that is the reason. clothes fir the same and actually it is only 1 pound, so I am not too worried YET. I have got my 20 minutes jogging in, my 10 minutes airboxing with weights, and I am getting ready to go out the door for a walk, it is clear outside, as of now, so I better get it done, much more rain is in the forecast.
Glad you lost weight, it is an affirmation of all of our work. I would love to spend time in Scotland, My Great Grandfather came here when he was 19 or 20, a coal miner from Edinburgh area, and I have a cousin and she lives in Isle Of Skye, I didnt get there last year, but would love to. It sounds so beautiful.

I have the same attitude only I get on the scale just once a month. I hate the scale and don't feel it is an accurate measurement of success. How the clothes fit waist measurement and food in and exercise out is far more an indication of success. Keep up the good work
