Nutritional Tracker

As I am trying to stay on the right path, I've discovered the nutritional tracker. Not really a discovery, but new to use for me. I have been tracking my meals and reading the follow up information. It's great to get such immediate feedback on what I'm eating. I know that I'm supposed to stay within a certain range, but the tracker helps me to see where I need more work.

Tuesday I will grow grocery shopping. I've always tried to choose healthier items and stay away from processed foods. I always buy all the items necessary for a good salad, any never use them emoticon. I was hoping I would get tired off wasting that money and either eat the salad or not buy anymore. Well, I'll be buying more salad fixings this Tuesday, buy I'm confident I will be eating salad this week. I need to concentrate on finding healthy snacks. It's so hard to find good fruit. I know fresh is better than canned, but I might have to settle for a mixture of both.

    LOL! We're kindred spirits! I LOVE salad when someone else makes it, but when I buy the "fixin's" they just seem to turn brown, mushy, and smelly in their pretty little bags, and since I buy organic, it's REALLY an expense. One thing that works for me is to get romaine leaves and use them instead of bread. I love wrapping my turkey burgers in the leaves and eating them like a wrap. It works best when you cut the burger in half. Lots of things are really good rolled up that way.

    Camillemans idea sounds good too. I thonk I'd do better with the salads if they were just "grab and go." I may add that to my list for the week.

    You should try to prepare the salad in 2 or 3 portion sizes in tupperware and leave it in the fridge. Then when you prepare your meal whether it's lunch, dinner or a snack you can just pull one out and munch away. Viola - you used the salad fixin's. The hardest part is setting aside the 10 minutes to do it without procrastinating.

    I love the nutrition tracker!
    i eat non american. BUT I don't I dont know ingredients especially when it's from restuarant, or made my friends that can cook!

    I just type the dish and POOF! someone already put it in!

    My husband says that alot to me...why did you buy it if you aren't going to eat it? So, I have resolved to eat whatever I do buy. Which honestly hasn't been that easy! :) But I am really anxious to lose this weight and I have been walking on the treadmill everyday and I am so motivated! Good luck to ya darlin!
