No resolutions for me

Sunday, January 02, 2011

I do not make new year resolutions.
I look at the year ahead and do make goals for myself - but as it says on my sparkpage, I know that I will take many detours on this journey to health.
I just had my second surgery in 6 years, my 5th in 13 years. I struggle, I get beat down, but my GOD is bigger than all of this pain and agony.

I am so thankful to be alive. I have goals to do more in my community, my college and my work. I graduate in May and hope to find work working with children who have special needs.

My health goals are to continue my journey eating healthy and walking as much as I can.
I have to prepare my body and my mind for the next procedure in February.

God is so good.
Happy New Year!

That you have persevered with your studies despite the health problems that have plagued you is a testament to your determination. Continuing prayers for your health. Hang in there. -- Lou
