Eating WHITE will not make you fat emoticon
Eating Whole Grains will NOT make you thin emoticon

This is NOT a diet - this is a "rest of your life lifestyle change"

This is NOT to be deprivation - this is a "rest of your life lifestyle change"

This is NOT supposed to hurt - this is a "rest of your life lifestyle change"

This IS a working program - we learn that we can eat anything in moderation.
No, not all of the time, but we can work anything we really want into our meal plan occasionally.

Everything is possible in moderation.

Thank-you for posting this. Too often we hear about how bad everything is, sometimes to the extreme as if it's poison.
I think sometimes we tend to beat ourselves up too much anyway.
Happy New Year!

    Ahhhhhhh yes...that ever-illusory balance --

Chocolate mud cake will not make you fat.

Skim milk will not make you thin.

AMEN to that. I couldn't have said it better. You can't give up everything and expect to continue for the rest of your life. But you can shift things unntil you fit what works for you and that is a great lifestyle change.

Love you,

You are right on about this! I've been beating myself up because I've let everything slide for the past week and I really like your words that this is a working program! Thanks!
