OK so I don't normally blog much! I used to but I didn't really get much feedback and I think that was what I was looking for. Today I am blogging for myself. I've been here on SP for almost 3 years. Initially I wanted to lose the weight for my wedding and to quit smoking.
Well..... I lost 50 pounds and I quit smoking. I have been quit for over 2 yrs. now but the weight, what can I say? I have gained it all back plus some! I know all the reasons, I eat too much, I eat the wrong foods and I lack the exercise I need daily! I have all the tools to lose weight. They are at my fingertips and I know what to do to lose the weight. So today I am COMMITING to :
1.) Using my WW knowledge to eat, consume the proper amount of food daily
2.) Making healthy decisions on what to actually put into my mouth
3.) Having healthy snacks around at all times
4.) Drinking water EVERY day
5.) Walking 3 X's a week
6.) Using the stationary bike for riding instead of as a LR decoration, 3 X's a week
7.) Trying new, healthy recipes
8.) Being positive and excited about my choice to get healthy
9.) Staying focused on me and not everyone else
10.) Limiting my time on the computer
11.) Joining a new team that will motivate & encourage me to do this
12.) Asking for help when I need it
There, I guess this could be my own 12 step program!
On a funny note........"The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight because by then, your body and your fat are really good friends." Not too far from the truth, I find it so much harder to lose the weight now that I am in the over 50 club, but it is doable. So my friends, please wish me luck as I try again to make this happen..........I KNOW I can!
