Okay, I did overdo it over the holidays. In some ways I am surprised the total gain isn't worse. I guess I have learned some good habits. Between Thanksgiving and New Year's, I have gained 7 lbs. My goal is to have it gone by Valentine's Day which is about 6 weeks. I know that will be a challenge because these are like those last pounds before goal. I am going to use the 28 day bootcamp from Spark to keep me focused. I also plan to get back on my bike, either inside on the trainer or outside depending on the weather. The biggest change I plan to make is to do my exercise as early in the day as possible. I have been putting it off and then deciding it was too close to bedtime to exercise. I plan to weigh every day.... yes, I know weight varies from day to day without regard to real weight loss, but I think the scale will keep me honest.

    emoticon I'll be right along with you. Although I didn't suffer any holiday weight gain, I still have 15 to go to reach goal. I'll be exercising as I can fit it in with whatever is available during my hospital stay in Chicago. In Florida, I plan to walk, bike, do Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown, and the crunchless abs DVD I fell for from a TV ad. (I'm hoping the hospital has a DVD player in the room...I'm packing my yoga mat.) Put it all together and I hope it still spells weightloss, which is an extreme challenge around my mother who has poor dietary and nonexistent exercise habits. At the very least, I hope to maintain.

    I like to weigh everyday as well. As you say, it keeps you honest.

    ugh gotta hate the holiday weight gain! but i know you will lose those 7 lbs in 6 weeks. YOU GOT THIS! :) 2011 is going to be an amazing year :)
