This past year has had some wins and some challenges. In October, and inspite of my constant knee issues, I ran the 10k that I set for a goal.
So, so proud of myself for competing that run!
As many of you know, being a mother is not always about putting yourself first. And, the stresses of work life, etc some times creep into your time to take care of you.
That would about sum up my Fall....and, thus my "fall" off the healthy living wagon.
So, here it is a new year
A time for reflection, and a time to see what changes can be made. I've gained a few pounds, but have also gained more insight as to where and who I want to be.
I'm ready to start living the healthy lifestyle again!
First step - get back into sparking. I'm looking forward to re-connecting with friends I've made here.
Second step - set those small goals and reward myself for accomplishing those goals.
Today's goal - water!
Third step - look for opportunities for fitness each day.
It's a gorgeous, unusually warm day here. I'm going take advantge of it by taking the dogs for a walk.
