I have lost and gained so very much this year and am filled with so much emotion. It makes me sad to think I let myself get to a point that I needed to lose this much. It makes me proud that I fought hard to get it done. It makes me smile in the mirror at the person I have become and the strength I reawakened within. I was able to pull out the former tough Marine and for that I am grateful. I ran hundreds of miles; I sweat gallons of fear away. I lifted my own body weight over and over again completing the P90X program. I pushed myself to the limit and I am on the other side of my goals looking back over the year with pride. I did it. And I am excited to continue on my journey as a healthy adult!
