For want of a nail, the shoe was lost. For want of the shoe, the horse was lost. For want of the horse, the rider was lost. For want of the rider, the battle was lost. For want of the battle, the kingdom was lost. And all for the want of a horseshoe nail!

- Old English rhyme

In today's Healthy Reflections I was touched by this thought:

Define yourself as your task, and that's all you'll ever be. Define yourself as your contribution to your family, and suddenly you're a very important part of a bigger picture.

Let's CONTRIBUTE to our world today. emoticon

I'll be leaving this afternoon for my Christmas present--an overnight with my dh, shopping and dinner at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. I'm getting ready to head out for my walk [I walked 6 extra miles Monday and Tuesday so that I could have tomorrow off], bake bread and make supper for the kids before leaving.

Thanking my honey for such a SPECIAL Christmas present!
