Try, Try again

Well, I am not happy with myself at all. Been having some very tough months. Don't even have the courage to step on the scale, knowing I have made a mess of things.

This year has been my hardest. Lots of stress eating and even some very difficult personal issues that triggered off the charts stress.

My goal is to get back on track and see progress before I leave for our 2 month vacation in the USA. We leave February 14th so I have a job to do before then.

    emoticon You are BACK! I'm so glad. It does not seem right having my SparkFriend away from SparkPeople. Here is my advice. Weigh in for the end of the year, or on the first for the beginning of the year. Change your ticker but change it to be a goal of a ten pound loss, not your actual weight. You need to see the progress. That will be your goal in the next six weeks. Only ten pounds. That will be a very good thing before going to the States. While in the States....well, I'm not an expert on that but tackle the first six weeks first!

    I can identify with you. This has been a hard year for me as well. Surgery, restarting college, teenagers. All of these have really messed up my goals. I have stepped on the scale for each weekly weigh in and have just not been able to stop the negative progress. But, I never gave up and I KEEP TRYING. With the holidays over, I have recommitted myself to recording my daily intake and daily exercise. I know it is not easy. You are worth every bit of effort that it takes! You can do it! emoticon
