Personal Trainer

Tuesday, December 28, 2010

Two years ago, I became a personal trainer through International Sports Science Association, when I lost 40 lbs. because I want to help others better themselves. I have always enjoyed helping others and I feel that I can do a fantastic job as a personal trainer, because of the obstacles that I have faced through my journey of losing weight. I still need to lose about 15 - 30 lbs, but I know that it will come off! Recently, I started to go jogging and walking and I can walk a very long way, but I am still working on my jogging techniques. I am up to jogging about 1/2 a mile at a time. I am a slow jogger, but I can do it. At least now when I jog, I do not breathe heavy like in my past. If I can do it, anyone can do it. Just have a goal in mind and stick to it! Do not give up and keep striving for your goals! I am and I will never give up!

Ha! Nice! Congrats! I LOVE that! Whoot Whoot. I think I can jog about 100 yards or half a lap. I could work up from there.

Boy, what an accomplishment -- becoming a personal trainer!

Since I use a walker when I am outside the house so I don't fall on uneven ground, I have not attempted jogging out of doors. Walking is fine there. However, I can move fairly quickly indoors, so I am trying to do better at that!
