I love the holidays. Society seems, for a moment, to forget about themselves and focus on their friends and family, and strangers in need. This year I was a little selfish :D I focused on myself. I wanted to maintain my weight this holiday season, and I did everything I could to make sure that happened. At Grandma's house I had only one plate of food with lots of salad instead of meat or cranberries (I of course had those, just in smaller portions!) I exercised on my normal schedule, including Christmas Eve and Christmas. I even asked for, and got, new workout DVDS, which kicked my trash! And I was able to lose 1 lb this season! Hopefully reading this will you inspire you. I didn't do anything crazy, I just stuck with my plan for eating and exercise, and let the holidays be about family and traditions!
