Needless to say, I am sad to be getting sick at Christmas time. I felt something coming on, with a sore throat, then cough and sneezing for a few days. Decided yesterday when I woke up without a voice, I better call my doctor. Luckily she had time to see me. The office was full of sick people when I arrived. Found out I have laryngitis (which I knew) and a sinus infection. So I am on a z-pack to get better. Can you imagine? I have never been sick on Christmas of all days!!! I am sure HOPING this z-pack "kicks in" for me, since I won't be" kicking" at Fitness class today. I don't feel sick, but sound bad. So, I did not want to go and scare the group, who are really a FUN Group of fitness people, mostly ladies of 50-65. I will just have to do my own fitness routine at home (which is not as much fun), OH WELL, could be worse.
I love to talk and so this is hard for me. I will have to "Listen more" and it may be a good thing. It is amazing what we find out from people. Another good thing is I have all my ingredients for the food I am bringing to my daughter's on Saturday, so I don't have to go to the grocery store at all today (just the drive-up mailbox at our post office, which I love).
I am so excited for my two precious little grandchildren and cannot wait for them to see what Santa brings and also from us.
"Merry Christmas everyone" and enjoy the special times with family and friends over the next few days and weeks. Oh, and remember too, if you are a Christian or Catholic what this season is really all about.
"Jesus is the reason for the season." God bless us everyone!!
