I Ate a Cookie I can not Lie

Wednesday, December 22, 2010

Today was the get it or forget day as far as Christmas is concerned.
I got up bright and early. Drank my protein drink with my toast and coffee and headed out the door.
Of course there were crowds but not too bad. Made it back home alive and began the final wrapping of the last 5 packages. YEA!!!!
Realized I had not had lunch and I grabbed a sugar cookie and drank it with my coffee. I didn't eat a "decent" lunch but didn't beat myself up over that one cookie. I figure the walking I did today will help some.
As long as I am aware of what is going in my mouth and write it down I can still handle the calorie count. I don't intend to eat more fats than protein. Wasn't that enjoyable overall but I was hungry and it was quick. Glad I bought more yogurt that's my go to food when I am hungry and have nothing prepared.
Oh well I am sure it won't railroad my efforts... emoticon

Imnena, I am from Granbury which is North of Pflugerville. I believe that Pflugerville is around Austin Area.
We are what most people consider the beginning of Hill Country.
We are SW of FT Worth.
Miss D thank you for my pat on the back.. I knew and was in full control of my faculties and I CHOSE it it didn't call my name like before..
J00BAKO, over 132days ago I would have been right there with you eating that ice cream cake until it was no longer an issue in my home. But this time it's different. I have really gotten control of this thing. I am not perfect by any means but food is not SCREAMING my name anymore like it used too..I attribute that to my daily food journal and calorie counting. Plus making better food choices..
Irish Eyes, How kind of you. I don't think I've ever been an inspiration for anyone and it is quite nice. I will try and live up to that compliment.
Merry Christmas and Blessings to all.

One cookie isn't bad. You are wise to keep the protein count higher than the fat count.
We used to live in Pflugerville for 24 years. Are you from Pflugerville?
Merry Christmas! emoticon

One cookie isn't bad. My cousin made me an ice cream cake I love. My husband is diabetic, so guess whose eating the whole thing. I'm bad. If it's in the house I can't leave it alone. If it's not here, doesn't bother me. Have a great night and Merry Christmas!
