Day 2 Fat Smash Diet

Hey everyone I am trying to turn over a new leaf in how I eat so I pick up a book that I have had for a long time but never even opened. I's the Fat Smash Diet. This diet is broken down into four phases. I'm currently in the the Detox phase which last nine days. Basically I'm allowed all the fruits and veggies I like (in moderation of course) except white potatoes and avocados.

Day one was kind of difficult because I am a bona fide MEAT eater and for nine days I can not have meat. So trying to figure out quick meals I could eat without meat was hard but today is a little better, I just have to get real creative in the kitchen. So far for the day I have made a Veggie Omelet. I uploaded the recipe to this site if anyone's interested.

Today was also another firs for me I tried the morning star veggie bacon and I must say it was really good, and I actually ate a fruit besides a banana I ate an apple. This is a big thing for me because I usually only eat bananas,and grapes occasionally but because I am going to give this detox a try I have all kinds of fruit in my kitchen and because food is not cheap I am going to eat it.     Thanks everyone for the positive encouragement. Day 3 was definitely easier than day 2. It's not as hard as I thought especially with the "meat" substitutes I picked and BTW they are surprisingly pretty good. I'm still not a fan of yogurt ugh I have tried all kinds the flavored one the mousse one you name I have tried it I guess yogurt is not my thing.

A Tanyre yeah we do and good luck with your detox seriously rethinking my timing with this one no idea what I was thinking.I'm proud of the fact that I have made it three days.

    emoticon I'm going to start a detox right after the New Year. I know My eating has been out of whack over the holidays so after they are all done I'll NEED a detox. I have Dr. Ian's 4 Day Diet book. The first 4 days are nothing but fruits veggies and beans. Keep up the good work. We need to get together and go for a run or something soon! Take care!
