Okay, so I am to write about a "trouble goal" this week. There are several so I am just going to choose ONE issue that I have not figured out how to succeed.
I am doing many things right such as: eating right, exercising a lot, gotten my blood pressure and cholesterol under control, etc.
BUT .... it seems that I don't understand how to make certain areas LOOK better. (Example: flappy arm skin, saggy tummy, ... need I say more? :) I am pretty sure you don't want all the details.) But, try as I might to do the correct exercises it appears that I am lacking some knowledge or understanding on how to tone certain areas of the body.
Alright .... enough said!

Hi Deborah, I just found you through your lovely welcome comment on my page, so not sure if you are doing weight training or not...Do you enjoy working out with dvd's at home? I have a GREAT Dvd for weights that really targets those trouble areas. I still have a fair bit of plumpness covering my muscles, but I can definitely feel them under there. :) So from another comment it sounds like you are already quite tiny so it may just be toning and not fat loss you need. Let me know and I can check the title of that dvd for you. :) darci

At 128lbs, I doubt there's too much fat left on you! I suspect your skin just needs some time (we are not 20 anymore - I'm with you on that one!). Keep on the strength training and target those areas to tone - no, we can't spot reduce fat, but we can target specific muscles to tone. Switch it up and try some different exercises for the same areas.
And then, take a deep breath - be proud of yourself and thankful for what you've accomplished... and love yourself. (I know lots of other people do - saggy arms or not! LOL)

You can tone all you want but unfortunately, you're not going to see the beautifully toned muscles under any fat (flabby arms, saggy tummy). So, continue toning but while you are doing that, you need to do cardio and eat right to get rid of the excess fat on your body. Once you get rid of the fat, you will start to see the toned muscles ripping through your skin! Perhaps you just haven't lost enough weight yet to see muscle tone and definition. But don't be discouraged. Keep it up and you will see results.
So, eating right, cardio and lifting weights should help you with this trouble goal.
