Day #48: GIVING UP?

Monday, December 13, 2010

Ok - I'll try and make this blog short and sweet because (1) my computer isn't working well; (2) it's too late and I need to get some sleep.

Tonight I went to my friend's birthday party and I indulged - I had cake and beer. My choices left a lot to be desired...

Not long ago I would've thrown all of my efforts off the board at this point. I blew my diet - this is it.

But NOT NOW. Yes, I made a few wrong choices. Do I feel guilty about them? Strangely... no. Am I giving up? Gosh, no!!!!!

Ups and downs are meant to happen along the way. As long as I get right back on track tomorrow, everything will be fine. And that's my plan.

A couple of stupid choices cannot erase the hard work I've devoted to my well-being for the last month and a half. So now I can't turn back time and undo my choices. I did enjoy the cake and I did enjoy the beer. Period.

But I also enjoy taking care of myself so I'm looking forward to working out hard and eating healthy tomorrow.

One night cannot destroy a lifestyle.

Have a great week, sparkers!

I am glad you have that positive attitute, is like you said, there are suppoce to be ups and downs because we are humans, but the important thing is to get right on track! Dont be dissappointed in any way because after taking good care of yourself during a month in a half, a piece or pieces wont affect you drastically! Drink alot of water because that will clean your body from any junk food you have eaten!! Good luck with all your workouts and continue enjoying sparpeople as much as I am! emoticon
