The snow was thigh high and my job was to rake off the snow on top of 5 slash piles which were 10'-12' high. When that snow came down, it was then chest high. My gaiters don't come up to my thighs or my chest --- so it was chilly. Then I raked holes all around the perimeter of the slash piles so air can get inside and the keep the fire roating.
It's pretty...5 blazing bonfires on a mountain of deep snow. Anyone bring marshmallows? Nope.
Good calorie burn...more interesting than my stationary bike. There are lots of ways to exercise!
