So a while back I developed iron-deficiency anemia, which has pretty much kept me from exercising to any significant degree. Why did I have anemia? Turns out I was losing too much blood. And why was I losing so much blood? Turns out I had these tumors ...

So now I'm in the hospital following surgery. (Tumors of this kind are almost always non-cancerous, though, as you can see, they cause other problems.) This morning I was able to walk up and down the hall, and I have decided to use this to re-start the Rivendell challenge! They're still filming The Hobbit, so surely Darwinista and I can reach Rivendell by then.
