Suck It! 12/10-12/2010 - Time to Build Momentum!
From Yoovie's template for this weekend:
So we started off the month teaching ourselves that its ok to fumble as long as you can do a quick recovery, right?
Bad breakfast = sensible lunch
didn't move all day = crunches before bed
coke with lunch = water with dinner
bad morning does not = ruined day
missed a workout = stab it tomorrow
So as long as we make *mostly* good decisions on a daily basis, then we have consistency.
But these are just normal days, how are we gonna keep going the way we need to when its the crazy holidays and you're either laughing and jolly and sharing sweets with tots or staring between a hangman's noose or a bowl of Hershey's Kisses...(dear calorie gods, I would give my left nut for calorieless Hershey's Kisses- as they are, in my mind, the perfect candy.)
So what do we do????????
We gotta build steam so we can charge though.
We can't just wake up on the 23rd and be like COWABUNGA!!!!!!!- cause we wont even be warmed up yet, we'll pull something.
So we gotta build steadily from today, starting THIS WEEKEND. Go back and look at the things you've reported in so far for the month and figure out how you can either do MORE or BETTER or HARDER or just START.
The Christmas stockings filled with candy can suck it.
I'm going to go to the gym and do a lot of ST and running this weekend, cause I really really dont want December to be a throw away month, just because its cold and there is a lot of food and alcohol.
Weekends are full of temptations but I am stronger than that because I want to wear a bikini this summer (or, at the very least, feel strong, sexy, and healthy in a monikini).
Tell me about a really healthy meal you enjoyed lately.
I had whole grain pasta with shrimp stir fried with 1 tbsp of olive oil and tons of onions, mushrooms, and green peppers with stir fry sauce for dinner last night!
My plan is:
FRI-SUNDAY - SEE HOW MUCH YOU CAN DO, GO FOR BREAKING RECORDS
Prepare to report back on Monday everything you do this weekend.
