Excited!

Friday, December 10, 2010

My husband & I went shopping yesterday. I was looking for a sweater to wear to a Holiday party (I didn't want one of those Christmas sweaters). I ended up buying a quilted jacket. It fit really nice over the turtleneck and shirt I was wearing, and I love the colors. It's really not a "Christmas" thing, but I really like it!

When we got home and I tried the jacket on again I was SHOCKED!!! I bought a size LARGE NOT an XL like I've been buying! I bought 2 size XL turtlenecks and size 16 pants! I guess I'm going to have to go back to trying everything on again! I could exchange the turtlenecks, but I won't. I'll just wear then a little big for this year & pass them down to my daughter for next year!

How can I slip down a size and not realize it? I agree with what I read yesterday... Sparkpeople is expensive... I've now gone from XXXL to an L, 42DD to a 36D, size 30-32 to a 16... That's a lot of clothes!

That's AWESOME!!!! Unfortunately (for me) I can never find anything at the resale shops! I've been to the 3 closest on several occasions and have always come out empty handed. Clearance ranks have become my friend!

Thrift shops are my friend! I wanted a holiday shirt and dear daughter wouldn't let me buy one until we went to the thrift store and looked. Well we got 14 shirts and 1 skirt for $30. The shirt I was going to buy was $15! Three of them were holiday shirts!
