Brie spent about three hours bent over the F350 changing out spark plugs. She had to remove lots of the air conditioning hoses just to reach the plugs. I brought her tools and supported her (literally) as she reached into the belly of the beast. It runs a little better, but it still needs work. In the evening, we visited our Alabama friends. I entertained myself by talking with their monkey! Monkey was fascinated by my top knot of hair. Last night when I visited, I was wearing my fur hat with ear flaps. She started screaming, even after I took it off! Anyway, William let us take home the 1993 GMC (Jimmy) station wagon, though its only half paid. I'll help Brie do a brake job before we go any place with it. I don't burn a lot of calories by watching, but I learn a lot!
Brie says that I'm invaluable, because I can hand her tools, "nurse!" and she doesn't have to change position or lose her grip while twisting a wrench.
P.S. the "NURSE" also gives great back rubs!

You have a good job as nurse.I lift the hood of my jeep and can't find the thing that holds the lid up.To be honest I have trouble finding the latch to even open the hood.
Then I'm suppose to check the water and oil levels."Where are they again"?I drive the poor baby until it quits running then call Triple A to haul me home then ask nicely if my friend's husband can fix it.So far the jeep and friends hubby are GOOD FRIENDS! I can't have a sissy car,it couldn't take the abuse and non-care I give my jeep.Have a fun day playing nurse. emoticon
