My nutritionist and endocrinologist suggested I lower my calorie goal while I'm recouperating from surgery since I can't work out. I was happy to see that in the last 2 weeks I lost 8 pounds. I'm not as hungry when I'm not working out anyway, so it was easy to stay in the new calorie range. WOOHOO!
I have been recuperating from surgery and avoiding stress has been very important. I haven't been keeping up with the weekly stress challenges here, so I went back to week 2 and have been reading the articles there. I think for the rest of this week I'm going to try walking outside, and taking baths since I was just told by my surgeon I can take baths again. We'll see how those 2 things add up to less stress for the rest of the week.
