To all of us who have loved ones in Heaven this Christmas...

Wednesday, December 08, 2010

I am missing mom and dad terribly, and a good friend sent this to me. I pray it comforts your heart like it does mine emoticon

I see the countless CHRISTMAS TREES around the world below
with tiny lights like HEAVENíS STARS reflecting on the snow.

The sight is so SPECTACULAR please wipe away that tear
for I am spending CHRISTMAS WITH JESUS CHRIST this year.

I hear the many CHRISTMAS SONGS that people hold so dear
but the SOUND OF MUSIC can't compare with the CHRISTMAS CHOIR up here.

I have no words to tell you of the JOY their voices bring
for it is beyond description to HEAR THE ANGELS SING.

I know HOW MUCH YOU MISS ME, I see the pain inside your heart
for I am spending CHRISTMAS WITH JESUS CHRIST this year.

I can't tell you of the SPLENDOR or the PEACE here in this place
Can you just imagine CHRISTMAS WITH OUR SAVIOR face to face

I'll ask him to LIFT YOUR SPIRIT as I tell him of your love
so then PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER as you lift your eyes above.

Please let your HEARTS BE JOYFUL and let your SPIRIT SING
for I am spending CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN and Iím walking WITH THE KING.

Doing ok here. Fighting the sweet urge. Didn't wake up in time to work out, and going out to a free movie screening tonite with a friend, so prob no workout tonite either. Planned my food and will keep calories low to compensate.
Hope you all have a blessed day and take time to breathe during the Christmas rush!

That was beautiful. I am missing both my grandpa's and a great great aunt this year! They were what Christmas was all about. The story telling and the smell of good food at my aunt's this is the first Christmas without her. Thanks so much for sharing!

I am definitely missing my parents this Chanukah! I don't know why this year in particular. Kind of weird.
It's okay to skip a workout once in a while. You'll do one tomorrow.
Have a great day!

What a beautiful poem...thank you for sharing.
No matter how long it's been, I think everyone misses their loved ones especially this time of year. My dad passed a little more than 8 years ago. Sometimes it feels like it was just the other day, sometimes a lifetime ago, but still missed just the same. God bless.

Thank you for this poem. I have more loved ones with The King than I care to count, grandparents, parents, two aunts, 3 uncles
and good friends. I would like to share this with my cousins who ;ost their Mom this year, if that is alright with you. Marcia

Oh, I LOVED this poem. Thank you so much for sharing. I will be posting this in my "Lost a Loved One" team as I'm sure many other people will enjoy it too. I'm missing my fiance something terrible lately. With the holidays coming up and that dreaded anniversary of his death being just 3 days before Christmas, it's hard to keep him off of my mind. Thank you for bringing me some peace and comfort through this poem. I appreciate it more than you know! emoticon emoticon emoticon
