Start of a new challenge

My team 2011 Brides to be is having a two week challenge!!! Yay! So we started this Monday and we're trying to make sure we stick to our calorie counts and exercise at least 3 times a week, and each week we will weigh in. At the end of the 2 weeks the team with the most points wins...but all in all everyone wins when we stick together to lose!!!

I've already lost a whole pound since getting back on track and that's without my running regimen. I'm really getting into pilates these last two weeks. I've never really liked floor work, but now that it's really cold out this just hits the spot.

Speaking of spot...I've started spot training. So while I'm cleaning the house or washing the dishes, or doing the laundry...I add in squats, or leg adductions, or march in place. Just bumping up my activity that way is helping me stay motivated. While brushing my teeth or drying my hair; I've started dancing to the beat of my own drum! ;)

Christmas is just around the corner and so is meeting my new MIL. I can't wait to meet her, but I would also like to look my best as well. So after Christmas we head to Texas for a week, so we can spend some time with her. I'ver heard good things and bad things about her, but I'm going with a positive attitude and a peace offering for stealing her favorite child! Hopefully she'll like me, and I her. Praying about this everyday that God will get us all through this adventure just fine.
