W8Watchers Points Plus program

Saturday, December 04, 2010

Well, I joined WW's today for the new plan, points plus. I think once I figure it all out, it will be good. I have the calculator and e-tools and lots more.

Lot of food to eat and lots of extra points allowance. I'm anxious to see how I do next week when I get weighed. My scale is .6 lighter when I weighed in. Of course,
at the meeting I had on my skinny clothes. At home when I weigh myself, I am in my birthday suit. (-: (-: So, I am a little higher than I thought. I will correct that pretty fast I believe. Maybe several of us can learn this new plan together. It will be fun!
Happy Journey everyone!!

How is the WW PP program going for you? I am a Lifetime Member and I do not attend meetings regularly, so I like to hear how others are doing with the new points. I am following the "new program" after being away for a while.

I personally, like the new program as a Lifestyle. I think that I will lose slower, but I think that it is a way that I can live, not dieting.

I am a lifetime member so I don't weigh in every week. I don't know why, I just weigh in once a month at the meetings, but I go every week. I have been up and down two pounds for the last 8 years. I know you can and you will do it. Spark Friends help keep us motivated.

I gained a pound on the new program. Too much fruit I'm afraid. I am diabetic and this new Points Plus doesn't seem to work as well. I am a lifetime member. The very old program in the 70s worked well--I lost 80 pounds. We shall see....

I have been doing the PointsPlus program for two weeks and have lost a total of 2.8 lbs. This is the most I have lost in two weeks in many months. I love it!
Hoping for your success,

The new calculator is great. A little challenging to figure out at first, but really simple once you get the hang of it. Not sure if I like the new program or not yet. I was up +.4 last meeting which is not much, but then again I ate badly last Sunday so l will see this coming Tuesday what my weight will be. I have been really good so far. The plan is a bit challenging when you are out with friends. Hard to be good and eat right.

Good luck! I weigh in my birthday suit at home too, LOL. At meetings, I generally wear the same out fit - jeans and a short or long sleeve t-shirt without shoes. At least, I didn't have to worry about the change from summer to winter clothes then. :) I also bought the calculator, have an iPhone and eTools to do the program. Having the foods in my favorites here at SP is really helping me figure out the nutrition info to enter into the calculator. Good luck with the new plan!
