I have gone down from a size 20 (22 during PMS) to being a smaller16-14 size, still have a ways to go, but it is really an exciting time, but also creates a dilemma. I plan on keeping one size of 22 pants, just to do the typical weight loss photo of the skinny size 10 woman in the size 40 pants with a big smile (not quite like that but you know what I mean.)
I am also going to keep a pair of pants one size bigger so that during PMS or if I am feeling really bloated, I don't burst into tears from not having anything that fits because I've "gained" some of the weight back (even if it is just water retention or for female reasons and not actual weight gain.)
The rest of my clothing that there is just no way I can alter to fit (without looking like a clown in a circus) I will donate, because that gives me the belief in myself that I have made a permanent life-style change. Besides, if I should gain a bit back, I don't want to be tempted to try to fit into the "large" size clothes.
I've lost the weight and rewarded myself with some new clothes, and need the closet space. There is no looking back, it's on to the size 10 and a healthier, better looking me.
