No. I am not sick!

Wednesday, December 01, 2010

Lately people who i haven't seen in awhile have been coming up to me and hesitantly telling me i look good...then they say...are you ok? i tell them yes. they then ask, so you lost weight on purpose? i assure them i did lose the weight over a long period and quite intentionally and that i am the healthiest i have been in years.
i just feel weird when people ask me if i am ok.

thanks mandylove. i live with my mom and i know she is jealous of my sucess. she keeps bringing home stuff she knows i like to eat but don't anymore. she had lost a lot of weight on weightwatchers but has gained most of that back and says she's just not ready to be thinner. she is miserable..she says she is proud of me yet she tries to sabotage me.

Remeber some people have a hard time when someone is doing something they feel they themselves can't do. You've lost weight and so they may be a bit jealous. Don't let them get you down... and congrats.

    I hear ya!
It's like when people say, "Oh you're losing weight? You look great."
Does that I mean I looked like crap until I started losing weight?
Some just don't think before they speak.

Congrats on your continued good health.
