2010 Winter 5% challenge

Today is the beginning of a new challenge for me. I was asked to join a 8 week Winter 5% weight loss challenge. I really think it is a great idea to motivate all of us on this weight loss journey. Lots of emails and lots to do, but I think in the long run, this will get me moving and going in the right direction. Spark is wonderful and amazing how all these ideas help us each day to get the ball moving into the right court!!
I want to feel and look better and have better health guidelines. I hope I lose more than 5% if I am able, since I have a few health problems. I will do my best!! I plan to do W8watchers and follow the new plan and am excited about it. Determination and Positive talk will keep me on track along with portion control and following the plan. The plan works if you work it. Stick to it and do not cheat. This is a decision. I have a favorite class at the Y twice a week, called, "Fitness after 50." All of us love it there and keep each other focused. I also do other exercising , dvd's and more. Well, wish me luck on this new journey. I will be talking to you.

    Good luck with the challenge. Actually 8 weeks is pretty quick to lose 5% but it really does depend on how many pounds you really need to lose to get there. Good luck accomplishing your goal and with the new plan!
