Several years ago I bought a soft cover book titled: "Fit from Within 101 Simple Secrets to Change Your Body and Your Life" written by Victoria Moran.
The cover said: "Fit from Within will provide you with everything you need to know to start living fully and stop dieting. What a relief."
I pulled the book out a couple of days ago wanting to page thru it again and pull out those little tid bits that could help me where I am right now.
The book has 101 chapters, if you will, each chapter introduces the reader to one of the 'simple secrets.' Each chapter is only two or three pages in length. A quick, easy read that packs alot of useful information in a small package.
The information is sane and practical.
Chapter One is: Accept Yourself Today. Good place to start. Today, right where I am, accepting myself as I am. The chapter starts with the author's note: "If you don't accept yourself, you won't live fully, and if you don't live fully, you'll need to get full some other way."
I have decided to read this book again now during the busy, heck holiday season to help me stay focused on what I originally set out to do: Change the way I had been over-eating and not moving - to now improve my health - one step at a time. This book is a good motivator for me!
