It will be a full year of (almost) dedicated sparking this January 1st, which I just can't even believe (where the heck has this year gone???) But it got me thinking and now I'm curious - - -
Who out there resets their weight ticker, goals, breaks, tracking... on the first of the year? Why do you do it? Pros? Cons? Anyone who is going to do it that hasn't done it before?
I had thought that seeing my initial starting point from last year -to- now would be a constant motivator, but, really, considering I've only lost 5ish pounds depending on the day, I don't think that has been a big help. I haven't met my goal because I have been anything but steadfast in my quest, that I know. So, now to remotivate!
I like the idea of a new year, new start, nothing carrying over from last year. But I also like being able to see where I came from to where I'm going... I have to mull this over a bit more.
What are your thoughts?
