I had my 7 month appointment yesterday at OHSU. (Oregon Health and Science University in Portland) @ the Cochlear implant Center. Last appointment I had 50% speech comprehension. Before my CI surgery I had zero speech comprehension. At yesterdays appointment I ahd a 100% on all the tones and beeps in sound proof room and 80% speech comprehension. We were thrilled about this. I also learned to use the T-coil setting on my CI and it should help in telephone usage. Now, I don't ahve to go back for 6 months. YESSSSSSSSS!
