I gave in...

Wednesday, November 24, 2010

So the office decided that we would have Cookout (a great little fast food restaurant here) milkshakes...I should have said no, but I didn't.

I only ate half of it and now I feel a bit like crap.

I just need to learn to say "No thank you." However my reasoning for not saying that was I didn't want to make other people feel bad about consuming what looked to be 800 calories worth of milk, ice cream, and cookies.

Just talking about this is making my stomach turn.

Anyway tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I am planning on loading up on vegetables and enjoying the day with family.

I hope to get in some exercise as I have often fallen short when it comes to fitting in exercise.

I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving.

What silverknot said. You should join in the fun, just choose wisely.
You CAN do it! Have a Terrific Thanksgiving...My tip for today is to choose a dessert plate to eat on...have everything, but less of it.
Enjoy your DAY!

Everything in moderation. If you always deny certain foods it will be harder to stick to your plan. Perhaps you could get a kid's size? One milkshake is not going to derail your plan, a milkshake every day or every week will most likely have an impact. Don't beat yourself up over it, it is okay to have a treat once in a while. :)

Keep up the good work! :)
