Aloha Team Members! We are preparing for Thanksgiving! Praise the Lord!
"Loving Father, Gracious God, May we proclaim with the voice of Thanksgiving, and tell the world of all thy wondrous works. Let us therefore give thanks today: For the sun that shines in May, for the budding cherry trees, for the greening of the country leaves; For the summer's lovely golden stay, for the daisies wild in the meadows green, for the garden squash and climbing beans; For the Autumn's beauty in it's stay, for sumac red and scarlet elms, for nature in it's vibrant realm; For Winter's beauty at bay, the warmth of home at fireside, for crystal scenes of acres white. Let us give thanks today for every season's special way, and know that we are truly blessed, from north to south, from east to west. Your gifts to us are very precious, O Lord. Help us to keep them always in our hearts. This we pray this morning in Jesus' name, Amen!"
The Question: Continued From Yesterday!
I. James 3:13-18 - True wisdom and false wisdom. Read verses 13 thru 18. The knowledge of those who live moral lives comes from God: It is pure, peaceable, gentle, full of mercy and good fruits. The knowledge of those who live immoral lives comes from the world: it is envy, strife, confusion and evil works. Where do you stand today?
J. James 4:1-10 - Worldliness against Heavenly Wisdom. Read verses 1 thru 10. Let us humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift us up. God resist the proud but gives grace to the humble. Has God lifted you up?
K. 1 Pet 4:1-4 - Those who live moral lives are good stewards of God's grace. Read verse 1 thru 4. We should no longer live in the flesh to the lust of men, but to the will of God. The immoral people think it strange that the moral people do not run with them. With whom do you run?
May God's blessings bring joy to you, your families and friends, as you prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving. In His Love, Vic.
