Who would have thought

Monday, November 22, 2010

that one tree could have so many leaves.
Pretty green in the spring, cool shade in the summer, and beautiful fall foliage.
Well now they are coming down. (shame they don't do it all at once and get it over with) LOL
It took 3 of us 2 hours to rake up and move all those leaves.
Would have taken longer but I cheated and used a bag that was used to cover a mattress to haul them with. Looked like a giant pillow. LOL
Check out the pic of me and my 3rd bag of leaves. (last bag for now but there are still more waiting to come down. The secound pic is my daughter, you can tell she's tired of leaves too. LOL

I can say this though What a great workout.
I won't lie I'm sore and tired now, but a good tired. emoticon

Thank you for missing me! I love the pictures of the leaves. Do you use them as mulch?

Good job. I'd hate to think if I raked my leaves I have 11 trees around my house and that's not the pine trees either!

Way to go! I wonder if raking leaves is trackable here on Spark People? If not I guess it maybe could be counted as gardening...
