Yes, my slip yesterday led to a full-on, no holds barred, unadulterated binge of epic proportions. Over 5,000 calories.
I am not going to say "never again" because you know what? It probably will happen again. What I will say is that I won't let this stop me. I may be moving at a "one step forward, two steps back" pace right now but I am confident I can transition that into a "two steps forward, one step back" and then simply "three steps forward" as I long as I keep moving.
So I tracked the calories. I tallied up what I ate. I didn't hide from it or say, "well, I blew it - failure again!" I simply calculated it. Accepted it. And now I'm ready to take another step forward.
