Well this weekend I decided to give myself a break, which seems counterintuitive since I gained a lbs last week. My thought was just to relax and enjoy the weekend (which was beautiful). My kids were having a great time and we all just enjoyed being together.
I decided today to track my calories and see how "Bad" I was...turns out I still ate within my calorie range. Now I don't think I would recommend this type of action long term, but giving myself this little break energized me to focus starting today...which will hopefully maintain throughout the week.
