I found a Vegetarian Thanksgiving Menu that sounded interesting.
The only thing missing, is the Turkey...
and for me, it isn't Thanksgiving without the big bird.

It definitely would be difficult to have Thanksgiving dinner without the turkey.
Hope you and yours have a great holiday!

we've got a combo thing going -- Tofurky and the bird breast. My daughter is vegetarian. I try to keep the soy on the down low as it has the potential to interfere with thyroid, My daughter eats dairy and egg, so we are good to go there. (I don't like sweet potatoes or squash either. So difficult!)

Hope your Thanks day is fantastic! emoticon

I agree with you re: the BIRD. One year, when I was a mere child, my Mom decided to have duck instead. It wasn't bad, but at the end of the meal, there was nothing left but the skeleton!!!!! I had never seen a grown man cry until I looked at my Dad and his visions of a turkey sandwich the next day were dashed!!! It was the last duck to ever grace our Thanksgiving table.......
I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving too, my friend..... emoticon

Yeah, I'm totally gonna roast a bird, no matter how charmingly it sings and dances! The recipes sound good, though.

Yeah, I'm with you - it ain't Thanksgiving without the bird at my house, either - in spite of what the singing turkeys suggest, haha! Tofurkey? Blech!
