Proud Mom of my Marine Son

Wanted to shout to the world ;-) my son graduated The Marines Nov. 19, 2010.

He became a Marine on the Marines Bday which he is very happy about and graduated friday. He gets to be home with us for 10 days and then go back for schooling. Plus he gets to be home for Thanksgiving and for my bday, then leaves the day after..

    You have a lot to be happy for. You raised a courageous young man who felt the need to protect this country that we hold so dear. You should be proud. I would like you to tell him for me that I appreciate his courage and thank him for being a "stand-up" guy.

    How great is it that he became a Marine on the Marine's Bday. Were you able to see him graduate?

    Congratulations to him, and you! What a wonderful accomplishment! One of my best friends is graduating USNA this May and knowing how proud I am of him, I can't even begin to imagine how proud and happy you are as a mother. Shout it from the rooftops! emoticon emoticon
