From August until the end of October I was doing so well with getting in my workouts. I had really been enjoying running and walking a trail. Now the weather has gotten colder and windier, which I do not enjoy. So as I am evaluating things tonight, I am realizing that I just simply have not been exercising which leads to me not feeling as well, my clothes not fitting as well and a general mental haze.
Frustrating as it is, I know what I need to do. I need to figure out how, when and where I am going to start fitting working out back into the equation and then I need to get started. I would really like to get up and do treadmill workouts early in the morning so that I get it done right away each day. The obstacle is that I am not a morning person. But the reward would be having free afternoons to get other things done.
So I am setting a goal to get up early and get it done. Who knows -- maybe after a few weeks I can feel more like a morning person! What I do know is that I want to feel better and this is what it will take.
